The Marquis de Lafayette Hotel is the Pet-Friendliest Hotel in Cape May, New Jersey
The Marquis de Lafayette Hotel has been serving pet-loving guests for over 25 years right here in our New Jersey hotel and do accommodate guests with or without pets.

You and your pets can be accommodated in a choice of four different room styles, all with ceramic tile floors and throw rugs and located on the first floor with outside access. Extra care is taken to service these rooms between stays.

However, if you are allergic to some pets but not others, there may still be an allergy factor to consider.

We accept domestic dogs and cats. If you would like to bring any other pet, require help choosing a room, or have questions regarding these rooms, please contact our Pet Room Specialist. Pet rooms are available only by contacting the hotel directly. Rooms are limited so please call in advance to secure your preferred style and dates.

The pet fee is $25 per pet per night. In addition, a refundable $100 cash security deposit is due upon arrival for each room the pets have access to. Credit cards are not accepted for this deposit. Your security deposit is returned once a room inspection determines that no damage occurred.

These room styles are only available by booking directly with our Hotel. To reserve a Pet Friendly room please contact the hotel and speak to one of our Guest Service Representatives or book directly through this web site. Reservations made online through third parties for customers with pets may not be guaranteed a room upon arrival.

Abbey
This is the smallest of our pet rooms. It accommodates two people and is ideal for small to medium size pets (up to two dogs under 30 pounds). Due to its size, this unit may not be crate friendly. Please contact a Pet Room Specialist if your pet requires a crate.

Victorian Suite
This junior suite sleeps up to four people and is ideal for all size pets.

Marquis Suite (Poolside)
This suite sleeps up to four people. It is larger than the junior suite and includes a small kitchenette. This suite is ideal for pets of all sizes.

Cape May Suite (Poolside)
This suite sleeps up to six people. It is larger than the junior suite and includes a small kitchenette. This suite is ideal for pets of all sizes.
